The Hitman of Indian cricket, Rohit Sharma, scored his third double century in ODIs during a second One Day International against Sri Lanka in Mohali on Wednesday.
In his record double ton, Rohit smashed unbeaten 208 with the help of 13 fours and 12 sixes. Rohit scored these runs the day of his second wedding anniversary and that too in front of beloved wife Ritika Sajdeh.
Ritika was present at the I.S. Bindra stadium during the entire match.
When Rohit got to his magical double century, Ritika broke down into tears, just highlighting what it meant for the couple.
Ritika has always been the driving force behind Rohit. She stood by the right-handed batsman during thick and thin.
And after beating the visitors by 141 runs, Rohit dedicated his 3rd double ton to his wife. It’s the perfect second-anniversary gift the Mumbai lad could give his better half. “I’m happy my wife is here with me on this special day. I know she would have liked this gift from me. She’s been my strength, she’s always been there for me. You go through so much stress in this sport, and having them around is always special,” Rohit said during the post-match interview.
